Welcome to Davidson Coops & Farm! We build custom made chicken coops, animal shelters, green houses & raised beds. We also raise chickens and operate a mini homestead. Our little farm is now NPIP/AI clean certified! We can ship chicks and hatchings eggs throughout the contiguous US. Chicks & Hatching Eggs
Our hatching eggs are collected multiple times a day to ensure the highest hatch rate and healthy chicks. Chicks are hatched on Mondays and will ship that same day with GroGel to ensure a safe arrival at their new homes. If you would like your chicks vaccinated for Marek's Disease or express shipping, please add those items to your cart along with your chicks. Thank you!

Shop Policies
DAY OLD CHICKS:
We only ship day old chicks in groups of 6 or more for their safety. When your chicks ship, you will receive an email with tracking information. Your chicks will be held at your post office for pickup so you must pay attention to the tracking and be prepared to pick up your chicks the day they arrive. Your post office should call you but in the event they do not it is still your responsibility to pick up your chicks when they arrive. We will not be held responsible for notifying customers when chicks are ready for pickup. If you have chicks arrive deceased, or fail to survive within 48 hours of pickup from the post office, then you must contact us immediately and send photos of any deceased chicks or we will not replace or refund any chicks.. If you do not pick up your chicks within 4 hours of the day your chicks arrive at your post office the 48 hour guarantee is null and void. There will be no refunds for shipping costs. Depending on how many chicks have deceased, we will either reimburse you for the deceased chicks or offer store credit equal to the value of the chicks (our choice). Extra chicks are not eligible for reimbursement or replacement. Replacement chicks will be sent out as soon as the chicks are available. ***There are no exceptions to this policy***
HATCHING EGGS:
We do not guarantee any certain hatch rate of any of our hatching eggs. How the eggs are handled and incubated when they leave our hands will play a significant role in the success of your hatch. You may end up with a 0% hatch rate or 100% hatch rate. Please understand the risk you are taking before purchasing hatching eggs. However, we do our best to ensure that quality, clean, and mature eggs are selceted from pens with high hatch rates. Our eggs are shipped via USPS priority unless you select at checkout to upgrade your shipping to USPS express at extra cost to you. There are no returns or refunds on hatching eggs.
NON-PERISHABLE ITEMS
You may cancel your order within 3 days of placing the order for a 95% refund. The Davidson Design LLC and owners/employees is not responsible for the item purchased once it has been delivered and accepted by the customer. We are not responsible for personal injury while using one of our products. We are not responsible for products that are damaged after delivery. We are not responsible for items damaged during transit if shipped with an out of house shipping company such as FedEx, UPS, USPS, etc. If your item is shipped using an out of house shipping company and is damaged during transit please save ALL packaging, take lots of pictures of the damages and contact us immediately. They will not give a refund if you do not save all packing materials and have photos of the damages. You must contact us the day of or day after delivery. We will then file a claim for the damaged item. Once the shipping company has paid the claim, we will issue a full refund or replacement product to you. **If you do not save the packaging, take photos of the damages and contact us the day of or day after delivery, we are not responsible to file a claim for the damaged product.**
We also reserve the right to decline service to anyone or cancel an order if we need to. We must contact the customer through email if an order has to be cancelled on our end. You will get a full refund we have to cancel your order. Please contact us with any questions or concerns.
IN-HOUSE DELIVERY POLICY:
When we personally deliver items you must have a cleared out clean path for our truck and trailer to access. We can not deliver to washed out roads, steep hills/slopes/mountains or heavily uneven terrain. We will not be able to access roads, gates or pathways that are not atlest 8.5’ wide. Please speak with a customer service representative to discuss delivery instructions, route and ground preparation.
Davidson Coops & Farm and The Davidson Design LLC and owners also reserve the right to decline service or sale to anyone or cancel any order for any reason if we need to. We must contact the customer through email if an order has to be cancelled on our end. The customer will be given a full refund if we have to cancel their order due to something on our end.
