This listing is an add-on option with the purchase of one of our chicken coops. The stained trim option should only be purchased in addition to a stained or painted chicken coop. If you purchase this listing the trim on your chicken coop will be stained in the color you choose. You only need to purchase this listing if you would like the trim to be stained a differnt color than your chicken coop house and frame.

Stain should last 3-5 years. After that you will need to reapply it just like a deck or fence would need another application.
